Questions, answered plainly

Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can use a phone, you can run Stowlane. Add your units, connect Stripe, and you're going — no training session, no IT person.
How do payments work?
Stowlane runs the payments for you through Stripe — you set up your account in a few minutes right inside the app, no separate processor to deal with. You're the merchant: money is paid out straight to your bank, and the card fee passes to your tenant. No forced insurance, and we don't lock you in.
Who handles chargebacks and refunds?
You do — you're the merchant of record, like any business that takes cards. If a tenant disputes a charge or you issue a refund, it comes out of your balance, along with the standard dispute fee. Stowlane never marks that up or adds a fee of our own — we're not in the middle of your money.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. It's a flat monthly price and you can cancel anytime. Your data stays yours.
What if I only use a few features?
That's the idea. Switch off anything you don't need so every screen stays clean. The price is the same flat price either way.
How do my tenants pay?
By card or bank, from a simple page on their phone — one-time or on autopay. The card fee can pass to the tenant, so it doesn't come out of your rent.
Is my data mine?
